sigh..

watched oprah yesterday and it really got me.

the show was about child trafficking. kesian really. imagine what's it like... you're just 4/5 yrs old, sold off by your parents and forced to do things that a child shouldn't even be thinking off. it makes you want to cry...

and i asked myself WHAT CAN I DO?

i wish i'm like BONO and BILL GATES. have the money, have the fame.

GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! it's so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT CAN WE DO??????

i hope who ever stumbles upon my blog can give some ideas how WE can help.

too often have i read, seen, heard and did nothing. I, have a 4 yr girl. THANK YOU GOD for the life that you give me. my girl don't have to face the same fate as those poor girls. but WE can make a difference.

Some countries condemn thise perversity but DO NOTHING to stop it. They don't want to be known as sex tourist countries BUT IF YOU GO THERE, brothels operate openly. they even show you little children to 'entice' you. what is their government doing to stop all these from happening?

nothing.

bribes don't cost much in those countries. a few notes, you can get anything and AWAY with anything.

I AM MAD, I AM RESTLESS, I AM NOT COMFORTABLE, I WANT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.

STOP CHILD TRAFFICKING. IT'S WRONG. IT'S IMMORAL. IT'S BEASTLY. IT'S HORRIBLE. IT'S NOT HUMAN.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS, AND IF YOU COME FROM WHERE CHILD TRAFFICKING IS SERIOUS, DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING. STOP IT.

SAVE THEM. SAVE OUR FUTURE.

think....
what if it was me?

Halu! Good to hear from you again!

Not so fond of Oprah nowadays(especially when she uses the show to show silly actors like Tom Cruise jumping up and down like a fool professing his so-called love for what's-her-name-again lady..urrrggghhh!). So whenever Oprah was on, i would flip the channel and watch cartoon instead. However, yesterday, i didn't change the channel when Oprah was on. Reason was because she finally discussed a topic that deserves my attention - Child Trafficking.

The show wasnt really a shock to me cause i've heard of it before. But nonetheless, it still disturbs me. Without power, money and fame, there's not much ppl like us can do. Sad aint it?? Well, i guess you just have to do whatever you can and you just did it by speading the words!

P/s: Sorry for the long comment. U can have your blog back now. =P
